Springtime at Shefaro
to Shefaro, Texas, in the Spring.
Please enjoy the view from outside my front gate when I come home.
A view from my porch finds Shefaro goats and sheep grazing in the field of coastal which I sprigged by hand many years ago.  A lot of work pays off in a lush, green field.    This acreage is also the Borzoi field when the goats are put up.  Between Shefaro Park (my wooded acreage) and this field, the dogs and goats have five fenced acres.

After winter, the pasture is starting to come back.  March 2005
New Pygmy girls were born March 10, 2005. Sugar helped in the delivery.
March 18, 2005 the herd goes out to Shefaro Park
Meet the new kids at Shefaro, March 25, 2005  I bought fifteen bottle babies and they've now learned to suck on a lamb bucket.
Springtime - May 15, 2006 new baby Pygmies are born.  Sugar helps clean them after they're born...
then mama takes over.
