This is how it all began. Elia had a litter of nine puppies that were born November 4, 2001 at Shefaro. Zoie is pictured with siblings, Casanova, Tuxedo, Rodrigo, Tatiana, Panda, Smirnoff, Venado and Mikhail.
It's amazing how they change and grow in just a little over two weeks.

Zoie is pictured taking her first points (TWO POINTS) at San Antonio, March 7, 2003. Judge is Marilyn Ellis.
Zoie defeated Dontae and a special to win two points (FOUR POINTS) by winning Best of Breed April 19, 2003, at the Fond du Lac shows in Madison, Wisconsin Dontae won first place, Winners Dog, Best of Opposite Sex for a point himself. Judge Luc Boileau.
May 3, 2003, at the Badger Kennel club show under Judge Larry Kereluke, Zoe won her first major (SEVEN POINTS).
*Future champion Zoie went home to North Carolina and so will never become a champion. Robin pulled her from her successful campaign with seven points, including one major to finish because her daughter, Emily, wanted her pet dog home. They didn't understand she could have been a champion and a couch potato, too. After all the time, effort and money that was put into Zoie's campaign in Wisconsin and Texas, Robin pulled her. Robin did the same thing with the campaign of her very successful dog, Dontae, who lacked only a three point major to finish. A pity because Zoie's a great bitch and would have finished easily.
