This is how it all began. Gloriosa whelped three boys and four girls Nov. 18, 2002. It was a very easy delivery. She's a wonderful mother. Sire - Bokhara Shefaro El Dorado
The boys were born first, Cesario left, Leonardo right.

What a guy!!!! Leonardo made his show debut on September 21, 2003 at the Helena, Montana show. Unfortunately, his bite went the way of his paternal Grand Aunt (behind Bokhara) - undershot after six months of age - so he will not be a show dog. Instead, his life will go on as a companion to Ree Cuneo in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is pictured playing tug of war with Mirabella November 21, 2003. He leaves Shefaro mid December.

Leonardo left Shefaro today bound for his new home in New Mexico. He's perfect in every way except for his paternal grand aunt's undershot bite. I really miss this guy but with his bite, he cannot be shown nor bred.
Leonardo meets Ree. Love at first sight.

hi Sherry,
Just wanted to send you an up-date on Leonardo..
Well, lots' has changed..I am no longer in Az .I moved to Ca this fall (onto a 30 acre ranch) and so far it has been a perfect match. I love the way Leonardo has
adapted to farm life...he is a magnificent creature up here. In the very first week he caught and killed 3 possums which had managed to get into the
house. He loves to swim in the well-pond out back and has turned into the
dog I have always desired...I so dearly love him..You have given me the
greatest gift of all..a truly wonderful, loyal companion. He just loves
California,( so do I)..Soon I will desire to add to the collection, let me
know if you have any other boys who would love a " 'hellactious' farm life
in Ca" . Thank you for sending me my "Romeo", truly a match made in heaven.
Thanks, ree
